Come to the Southwest Landcare Gathering and hear guest speaker Jenny O'Sullivan discuss the aspects of adapting to a changing climate in agriculture.
The key note speaker for the day will be Jenny O’Sullivan.
Well known for her role in promoting sustainable and productive agriculture, particularly in Gippsland, where she and her husband run a 680ha beef and sheep property, Jenny will share her experiences about the opportunities and challenges in developing a product for the red meat sector.
Other presentations will include;
• What are the best species to plant? Presented by Simon Heyes.
• A local agronomist will discuss what crops are expected to be successful in the future.
This action will be followed by a bus tour of a local Wind Farm.
