After a complex merger process, the new Landcare Victoria Inc. is now ready to build for the future.
All members will be encouraged to actively engage to elect a new Committee of Management and Victorian Members Council in April. It’s a chance for all members to step up and have a say, and create the type of organisation they want.
Members will receive detailed information about the process in the lead-up to the election. The goal is to realise improved environmental management and sustainable land use in Victoria through the new body.
However, first we have to define what a new, stronger Landcare can look like and gauge our members’ support for a new direction. That means creating a plan of action and we need all members to help us by giving us their frank thoughts and suggestions.
