The CMA, in partnership with Southern Farming Systems, are giving women an opportunity to fill knowledge gaps by getting access to the best available information on topics they want to know more about.
In 2018/19, the Women on Farmers workshop series provided farmers with advanced training in Integrated Weed Management.
All participants rated themselves as having made reasonable to considerable improvement in knowledge and skills as a result of attending the workshops.
As part of Glenelg Hopkins CMA’s & Soils4Farms project in 2019/20, the CMA is again partnering with Southern Farming Systems to provide advanced training opportunities for farmers through the Women on Farmers workshops.
