Targeted Review to Find Ways to Better Support Farmers Under National Environment Law

The Australian Government has announced a targeted independent review to reduce red-tape and find practical ways to help farmers meet the requirements of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (the EPBC Act).

The review will help unpack the issues faced by farmers to find real solutions while maintaining the high environmental standards Australia is renowned for. The independent reviewer will report to Government in mid-2018.
