A brochure titled "Native birds of the Echuca-Moama district" was launched on 5th May in Echuca. It includes birds of riverside forests and wetlands, box and pine woodland, farmland and urban areas.

A joint project of the Echuca Landcare Group and Echuca and District Branch, Bird Observation & Conservation Australia (BOCA), the brochure features some of the 170 or so Australian birds found in the Echuca-Moama region.  For a copy of the brochure, contact Rhonda, Shire of Campaspe Environmental Projects Officer on 1300 666 535.
