The first disscussion session was a sucess and now we will be reviewing the draft. This Plan is aimed at working towards environmental goals as a community. The plan is to be used as a coordination tool to guide funding and to involve all Landholders within the region. The Local Area Plan will highlight the Landcare groups achievements and project their vision for the area.
The Sunday Creek - Dry Creek Landcare Group
Invites you to the second of four meetings to be held to help create a Local Area Plan for the Sunday Creek/Dry Creek Catchments.
Local Area Plan second meeting for the Sunday Creek & Dry Creek Catchments
Friday 22nd August 2008, commencing at 7.30 in the John Taylor
Room, Kilmore Library
The Sunday Creek Dry Creek Catchment covers an area of approximately 53 square kilometres extending from Arkells Lane and North Road to the South forming a roughly triangular shape to peak at the outskirts of the Broadford Township, and covers the areas of Kilmore East, Wandong, Clonbinane, Sunday Creek and parts of Broadford.
Most of the land within the catchment is under private ownership so the group is keen for landholders to come along to provide their vision for the area.
The night will be facilitated by Cathy Botta and supported by South West Goulburn Landcare
The session will conclude with an opportunity for participants to put forward their views of the land management priorities for the Sunday Creek/Dry Creek Catchments and discuss a vision for the area. A light supper will be provided by Landcare.
