Trust for Nature and the Millewa Carwarp Landcare Group are holding a rabbit control workshop at Neds Corner Station on Wednesday, 11 July 2012, 10am to 1.00pm. A BBQ lunch will be supplied.
Phil Sansom from Jensan Farm Services will demonstrate imploding rabbit warrens by using the R3 Rodenator.
Peter Sandell Senior Program Manager Parks Victoria, will explain the success of the “Mallee Woodlands Bouncing Back” rabbit control program.
Patrick Mickan Millewa-Carwarp Landcare coordinator will speak about landcare initiatives.
Daryl Walters from Mallee Land Management Services will speak about rabbit baiting.
Trust for Nature will be speaking about their latest project to protect and restore Regent Parrot habitat on Neds Corner Station.
