This will be the 13th Planet Ark day that Baranduda Landcare has organised and implemented

Everyone is invited to join our 13th Annual Planet Ark Community Tree Day. Approx 1000 native tree, shrub, and groundcover seedlings will be planted staked and guarded in a fantastic new reserve that forms part of the Wodonga Retained Environment Network (WREN) system - that in time will act as a great habitat corridor linking to the Baranduda Range Regional Park.
Arrive by 9.45 am on site for 10am briefing. Follow signs from Westmont Aged Care to Boyes - Avalon Rd intersection. Travel 400m down (south) Avalon (marked as former Howards Rd in google maps) to gateway into reserve. Depending on weather leading up to the event (and condition of ground) follow signs to planting area (250m WSW to meeting point).
Please wear appropriate clothing & sturdy footwear and BYO gloves, mini/large mattocks for planting (we’ll provide additional tools), water container and snacks. A BBQ lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by Thurs 26th July to enable us to cater accordingly.
