Early appearance of scarlet robins at Baranduda
Neville Bartlett of Baranduda Landcare reported on March 21st that
"I had a visit this afternoon from a Scarlet Robin. Seems a
bit early this year.
Thought it was a female but on closer
inspection of the image it looks as though it might be an immature male.The black is starting to appear on the head. Also
we have an immature male Satin Bowerbird setting up in one of our bushes.
Lots of calling practice over the last couple of weeks."
