Lake Hume is home to a variety of birds of prey, from the majestic Sea Eagle which nests on the Bethanga foreshores, to the dainty Nankeen Kestrel often seen hovering over neighbouring paddocks. The fast flying and beautiful Peregrine Falcon can also often be seen nearby.
