This event is part of
Greta Valley Landcare have access to a water monitoring kit and training in how to undertake water quality monitoring for several parameters of stream health.
Data collected by Waterwatch volunteers is compared annually against the EPA State Environmental Protection Policy segments (Waters of Victoria) and environmental quality objectives for our region.
We currently have two volunteers monitoring sites on the 15mile creek. If you are interested in your local waterway and would like to do some water monitoring please contact the secretary for more information.
