This event is part of
Learn about the plants and wildlife at the Kergunyah Roadside Wetland.
Come and learn about the plants and wildlife at the Kergunyah Roadside Wetland. We will have a plant ecologist on board to help identify plant species.
Meet at Kergunyah Reserve (about a 1km walk to site).
Bring along a folding chair, binoculars & bird ID books (if you have them), camera and please wear long pants/sturdy boots (there could be snakes about). We would like to build a collection of photographs of the fauna and flora from this area, so would love to have our local photographers come along.
There is also an opportunity to develop this site (in terms of weed removal, improved access etc), and we are very interested in hearing your thoughts and ideas of how this could become a community project.
We will finish with a BBQ lunch at Kergunyah Reserve.
For catering purposes, RSVP to Belinda, 02 6027 5294, email, opundo1@optusnet.com.au by Wed. 26th Oct.
