This event is part of
Kiewa Catchment Landcare Groups extends an invitation to anyone with an interest in Landcare to come along and contribute to shaping the future direction of our Network.
We need your ideas and experience to help design good events and projects that meet the interests of our members, past, current and future.
The workshop will be facilitated by Moragh Mackay from the Bass Coast Landcare Network and will include a BBQ tea.
PROGRAM:
5.30pm Meet at Kergunyah Reserve (you may like to park at the Hall, and take a short walk to the Reserve). If the Reserve is flooded/too boggy, or if it is raining, we will meet at the Kergunyah Hall.
5.30pm: What has worked well? We will begin with a quick reminisce of past Landcare activities and successes
6.00pm: What still works well? Discussion on what activities, project and events are still of interest to Landcare members and groups.
6.30pm: Why do these things work well? What information supports these activities?
7.00pm: Walk/drive to Kergunyah Hall for BBQ tea
8.00pm: What new issues or area of interest could we explore?
8.30pm: Turning ideas into action – Who else could be involved? What can contribute, what other resources are required and where will we find these resources and when will these actions be undertaken.
9.15pm: Supper & Close
You are welcome to attend all or part of the program.
If you are unable to attend, we would encourage you to put your ideas on paper and pass on to Belinda, or give Belinda a call, so your input can be included.
