This is your chance to learn about our many and varied Eucalyptus species.
Glenda Datson from Baranduda Landcare Group will lead us on a Field Trip to Mt Big Ben where we look at identifying Eucalypts and vegetation classes, as well as discussing seed collection techniques.
Glenda is an Environmental Horticulturist and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Meet at corner of Mt Big Ben Lane and Yackandandah/Dederang Rd., Glen Creek.
Please wear sturdy boots, hat and sunscreen. All participants will receive a copy of Leon Costerman's "Trees of Victoria and adjoining areas" Pocket Field Guide. We have 12 places available.
You may like to bring a tape measure and camera, as you may spot a BIG tree to enter into Kiewa Catchment Landcare's BIG tree competition.
