WOORAGEE LANDCARE GROUP
invites you to attend
‘Quest for Quolls’

a general information session.

Presenter:
Jerry Alexander, Senior Flora & Fauna Planning Officer, Water and Biodiversity, North East Region, Department of Sustainability and Environment.

• Characteristics of Quolls- learn more about one of our little known unique Australian mammals (called ‘Native Tiger Cat’ in some areas years ago when they were more plentiful)

• Habitat of Quolls- A handful of Quolls is still believed to exist in Chiltern - Mt Pilot NP, between the Woolshed Valley & the Wangaratta Rd and on the Stanley plateau. Find out where they like to hang out and what signs of their presence to look for (you may even be sharing your place with quolls!)

• Searching for quolls- Find out about our TSN 'Further Searching for Quolls' project to take place in July –August this year. Volunteers are invited to take part in the search. You will receive field training by Jerry (approx 1 hour at a time TBA) in how and where to locate quoll scats and be allocated a specific area of Mt Pilot in which to search. Searching can be done in your own time.
Permits, insurance and all necessary arrangements will be organised by Wooragee Landcare Group. Open to any interested community members.

Come along and find out about Quolls and/or the project
Plenty of time for your questions
