This event is part of
Public meeting for all not-for-profit community groups with a Landcare, environmental or sustainability focus working in the Wodonga environs, to join in the process of setting up a Network and work together to further our common interests.
Invitation to all not-for-profit Landcare, environmental and sustainability focused community groups working in the Wodonga environs, to be a part of the creation of the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network.
4 Good Reasons to join us!
We can help your group access Ideas and Resources to inspire the community, find new members and start new projects.
We can Support Your Group with group governance, insurance, administration, planning, project management, and evaluation and reporting.
We know there is Strength in Numbers in terms of finding people to help, finding funding for projects, bulk purchasing opportunities, lobbying, taking concerted action, etc.
Together we can Work on the Bigger Picture forming partnerships and planning for environmental activities that link across the whole of Wodonga.
Our next meeting to advance the formation of the Network will be held on:
Wednesday July 18th, 2012
6-8pm At TAFEspace
158 Lawrence St, Wodonga
Attendance at our first two meetings has included local Landcare and Friends groups, schools, TAFEs and rail trails. Your voice will be most welcome, and we encourage groups to send at least one representative at this forming stage so that your views are heard.
Please join us for a light supper and discussion of the goals, strategies and actions we will undertake within the next 3 years. We will also invite formal membership of the Network and formation of a Committee of Management.
Please RSVP by Monday 16th July
Please bring a plate of ‘light supper’ to share if you can
