Weeding and maintenance around the Happy Valley footbridge
We will be working around the footbridge on the Leanganook (Happy Valley) walking track. You can approach it by walking down the hill from Montgomery Street (probably the shorter route) or along the walking track from where Verlin Street meets Happy Valley Road.
The task is brush-cutting, weeding and general cleanup around previous plantings. We can see how well some of the plantings have done in the last year or two. And there will be the usual delicious morning tea.
Remember to wear stout footwear and hats, and bring good gloves of course. We'll have some tools, but bring a brush-cutter and /or your favourite weeding tools if you have them.
