This event is part of
Weeding and maintenance at Moonlight Creek / Happy Valley Road
With the current dry Spring showing no signs of changing, we need to focus our attention on this winter’s plantings again. To this end we’ll be watering and cleaning up the plants on Moonlight Creek at the bottom end of Happy Valley Road next Sunday, Oct 25th.
Brushcutters would be good, as would some water in containers. If everyone brings one container that should do the job. There’s plenty of room to park on the grass alongside the plantings.
This working bee will start at 9am in order to avoid some of the heat of the day. We’d like to use that as a starting time through until March so let us know if you have any opinions either way. If you can’t make it until 10am, that’s fine, it just provides others with another option.
This will also mean that morning tea will be at 10.30am instead of 11.30am.
Moonlight Creek is always a lovely spot to work so hope to see many of you there.
