Watering near the footbridge in Happy Valley
This month we’re going to water the plants and grasses we put in near the footbridge on the Happy Valley walking trail last year. There’s water in the waterhole so we don’t need to bring any. The plants also need a good weed so a mattock would be useful, as would a brushcutter.
In the summer months we start at 9am to avoid the hottest part of the day.
Matthew is doing morning tea at 10.30am but if anyone would like to contribute nibbly things please don’t hold back.
Parking on Montgomery Street is always a good spot when we’re working down at the footbridge.
This will be the last working bee of the year, but we’ll be having our Xmas break-up on Sunday Dec 6th – details shortly.
