Creek walk
We’ll all meet at Colles Road bridge and plant the remaining dozen Melaleucas left over from National Tree Day. Then we’ll go for a walk along the track and do some pruning as we go. There are a number of wattles starting to encroach on the track so these are the sorts of things we’ll address. It will also give us an opportunity to look at some of our earlier work and discuss its progress. This might be of particular interest to newer members.
Matthew will provide a mobile morning tea so we’ll boil the billy wherever we are at the time.
There’s plenty of room to park off the road below the bridge. Bring mattocks for planting and either secateurs or long-handled pruners for the tree work.
By the time we’ve done the planting we should all be assembled, but if anyone’s coming a bit later just catch us up along the track.
