Planting shrubs and trees along the creek from Sheriff’s Bridge to Winters Flat. Visitors are welcome. Morning tea provided.

The Friends, together with Winters Flat Primary School, have started work to “renovate” and further restore the Sheriff’s Bridge area of the Creek.

As you’ll know this area, which was first planted over 25 years ago, now hosts well developed, beautiful bush, a large variety of birds, even the occasional glider and echidna.

This planting day is to restore some recently-cleared areas, replace dead areas of vegetation which have reached their end of life, and introduce more biodiversity by adding other local species.  Any help you can give is really welcome.
We will supply plants, stakes, guards, mattocks, and coffee/tea and biscuits.

Please bring warm and protective clothing, protective footwear, gloves, a water bottle, and a hammer if you have one.

We’d love to see you there.
