A working bee to remove rubbish from public land along the Creek. Visitors are welcome. Morning tea provided.
We'll be cleaning up rubbish - bottles, plastic, paper, trolleys, dumped garden refuse - and tackling some weeds. The working bee will run from 8.30am to 10.30am. Like previous years, we're starting and finishing early to dodge the heat of the day.
Meeting at: Winters Flat Footbridge, Midland Highway (Johnstone St), VICROADS Page 287 O7 - see map below.
We'll then disperse into teams along the creek to do the work.
Start time: 8:30 am
We'll provide: collection bags; rubbish skip (courtesy of the Council), and tea/coffee biscuits
Please bring: hats, gloves, sturdy clothing, sun protection, your own water (and a friend).
3 vehicles with trailers, or trayed vehicles - please contact David King (5472 4485 or email@example.com) if you can help with one of these.
Looking forward to a really successful morning, and a cleaner Creek
