We'll present the Precinct Plan which we have developed following the Community Meeting and BBQ in February, and want to hear your comments.
The Friends of Campbells Creek Landcare Group (FoCC) invites you to a Public Meeting where we’ll present the Precinct Plan we’ve developed for the Creek and creek-side land, and listen to your comments.
In February we held a Community Meeting to present the ideas we, Council and the local Schools have for this area, which is Public Crown Land, and listen to your ideas and views.
We also discussed nearly $30,000 worth of projects which we and the Schools are undertaking to start restoring the Creek and creek-side land, and Council's plans for a walking/cycle track along the Creek.
We’ve now drawn all these ideas and projects together into a Precinct Plan to guide our work in future and turn the area into a real community asset.
We’d like to show you the plan, discuss it, and listen to any final comments in case we need to modify it. We aim to have a working plan agreed, approved by the Department of Sustainability and Environment (DSE) which manages the land, and in place by April 2009.
We’re also keen to talk to anyone who’d like to lend a hand to make it happen.
