We want your ideas. The creek-side land along Campbells Creek from Princess St to Cemetery Rd, Campbells Creek is now accessible to the community. We invite you to a free family BBQ and meeting to talk about a plan for the area
The Friends of Campbells Creek Landcare Group (FoCC) invites you to a free Community BBQ and Meeting to help plan the future of the Creek and creek-side land from Princess St to Cemetery Rd.
Last year we and the local Schools won funding of over $20,000 to start restoring the Creek and creek-side land and turn it into a real community asset.
The area, which is Public Crown Land, is now available for public and community access. We have already slashed some access-ways and started weed-control work.
We have a terrific opportunity to create a great asset – for enjoyment, recreational, and educational use – right in the heart of Campbell’s Creek.
We’ve started developing a large-scale plan of how it will look, to guide our work. This includes Council's plans for a walking/cycle track along the Creek and ideas from the schools and community members.
We're keen to hear your ideas and views. Families and children are welcome - we're keen to see you even if you can only attend for part of the time.
