This event is part of
Plant out at Winters Flat to support Council's big investment in this area's rehabilitation.
You may have noticed Council has recently removed lots of poplars and willows (a weed of national significance) along Campbells Creek downstream from the green flouro footbridge at Winters Flat.
Today, as part of our contribution to rehabilitating this area, we'll be planting out over 500 seedlings.
Meet: at the end of Cunnack Street, Castlemaine for a 10:00 AM start. We'll finish at mid-day with a late morning tea.
Please bring: gloves, hats, sturdy clothing & footwear, protection suitable for the weather, and your own water.We’ll supply the rest - hope to see you there!
