This event is part of
Planting and tidy-up along the creek near Campbells Creek Park. Visitors are welcome. Morning tea provided.
We and the local schools have planted most of the trees and shrubs planned for this year. We need one last burst to finish it off.
At this working bee we're aiming to:
* complete planting the trees and shrubs, especially around the "wetland" area near Cemetery Rd
* make a start on planting grasses and sedges in the same area for those prepared to get their feet wet
* do some clean-up
We will supply plants and guards, mattocks, some collection bags, and coffee/tea and biscuits.
Please bring warm and protective clothing, protective footwear, gloves, a water bottle, and a hammer if you have one.
This our last big working bee for the year. We hope to see you there.
