This project is live

This project started on 1 Jan 2008

Project description

Whirrakee Wattle (Acacia williamsonii) is virtually endemic to the Bendigo region, growing in very few locations other than the Whipstick, Wellsford and Kamarooka forests surrounding Huntly. It is classified as rare in Victoria. We work hard to promote the Whirrakee Wattle, unique to our district.
