Project description

Whirrakee Wattle (Acacia williamsonii) is virtually endemic to the Bendigo region and grows in very few locations within and outside the district. Its largest population occurs north of Bendigo in the Whipstick, Wellsford and Kamarooka Forests surrounding Huntly.
