Thanks to funding from the Bendigo Northern District Community Enterprise, we are able to continue on from the successful establishment of the Community Native Demonstration Garden in Huntly, to now offer a series of three native gardening workshops.
Our Landcare group is passionate about preserving, enhancing and replacing native vegetation and what better place to start than our own backyards !!
- Are you disillusioned with our changing weather patterns and after new inspiration for a garden that will not only survive, but thrive ?
- Are you looking for a garden that will provide shelter and food for native wildlife ?
- Are you hoping for a garden that will provide colour all year round ?
Whether you have an existing garden or are starting from scratch, this workshop is for you !
Come along to this workshop to understand the benefits of gardening with natives, learn about different species, gain good ideas about garden design and learn how to care for natives.
