Each year NBLG are proud to offer this unique planting event and something very special for families to do together on Mother's Day.
Trees For Mum is a movement offering families the chance to plant a native plant together with their Mum, for their Mum or in memory of a Mum that is no longer with us.
Last year we added High Tea to our annual event and it was a beautiful addition.
This year's event will be held on Mother's Day, on Sunday 8th May in the Huntly Streamside Reserve from 10-12. Enter via the gates at the picnic area on Leans Rd Huntly and follow the signs a short distance into the reserve.
No need to book, just pop in anytime during this 2hr period to plant however many native plants you like, leave a message on a tree guard, enjoy a cuppa and a special treat for morning tea at our outdoor 'cafe' and take home a free native plant for your home garden thanks to Bunnings.
