Come along and take part in the Wedderburn CMNs kangaroo scat count and monitoring program.

The Wedderburn has an ongoing kangaroo monitoring program, which occurs every March. Bendigo TAFE students, WCMN members and volunteers are invited to come along and partake in our scat count survey. Occuring on March 9th, 10th and 11th and repeating approximately one month later. 29 150m x 1m transect lines have been set up in the wider Wedderburn area whereby kangaroo scats are counted to determine a rough number of kangaroos in the area.

It really is a unique opportunity to be involved in something quite different. Contact Wendy Murphy for more details - 0438 3840 53 or wendy.murphy@dse.vic.gov.au
