Help make Monash greener at our planting day in Fairway Reserve, Mount Waverley
Everybody is welcome at our planting day in Fairway Reserve, Mount Waverley on Sunday, 1 August - National Tree Day. We have thousands of native plants ready, thanks to Melbourne Water Community Grants, and hope to have a big rollup to our major planting for the year. The registration is at the Scout Halls car park at the south end of Fairway Avenue.
The Monash Council Bush Crew will be on hand to show you what to do and the Scouts will be cooking a scrumptious free lunchtime barbeque.
Just bring some gardening gloves and wear clothing suitable for the day - everything else is provided.
This family event is great fun and helps combat greenhouse gas emissions!
