This event is part of
Assistance sought in planting and mulching indigenous plants on 2-acre Merricks Beach property of one of our members. Members of any Peninsula Landcare groups are welcome (not just MCCL).
One of our members would like assistance planting and mulching 1000 indigenous plants around a wetland area on her 2-acre property at Merricks, and extending previous plantings for wildlife habitat, shelter and water management.
Mulching: Sat 23 November (this is the task where help is most needed)
If you can't make it on Sat 23rd to help with mulching, planting assistance would still be appreciated on any of the following dates: Saturday 16 Nov, Wednesday 20 Nov, Thursday 21 Nov.
The plants are ready to go in the ground. The planting needs to be completed and the plants mulched while there is still soil moisture.
This member would appreciate it if any Mornington Peninsula Landcare members, whether in the MCCL or other groups, could give her a hand on any of the above dates.
If you intend to help with mulching on Sat 23rd, please bring wheelbarrow and mulch rake.
