After The Fire
Leigh has had extensive involvement in equine welfare. He played an integral role in providing relief assistance to the horse community including advice on re-building properties following the 2009 Black Saturday, 2013 Coonabarabran, 2014 Kilmore and 2015 Adelaide Hills bushfires and the 2010-2011 Victorian floods.
The Egg And The Potato
Once a horse has been rescued from a situation of abuse or neglect, the next step required is to assess what its needs are in terms of rehabilitation. Leigh will discuss and demonstrate his theory about the Egg and the Potato approach in terms of physical and mental rehabilitation.
