Bass Coast Landcare Network is inviting everyone in the community to a partnership planting day on 14 July, at one of their largest revegetation projects ever completed in the Powlett River Catchment.

This site is located in the upper reaches of the Powlett catchment, which feeds into the nationally important Powlett River estuary.  The estuary has significant saltmarsh and wetland communities.

The day will involve tree planting from 10am followed by a BBQ lunch. A local Green army team, funded by the Australian Government will be assisting on the day, along with key Bass Coast Landcare Network partners including the WGCMA and South Gippsland Water.

Funding for this project is from the Australian Governments Biodiversity fund and the Victorian Governments Communities for Nature.

Everyone is welcome to attend. To RSVP please call Dave Bateman on 0488 399 151 or email d.bateman@basscoast.vic.gov.au
