Ongoing revegetation of riparian zone at Swing Bridge Reserve, Cowwarr Weir.
On Sunday 27th July, as part of National Tree Day, Cowwarr Landcare group will be planting trees and shrubs at the Swingbridge Reserve at Cowwarr Weir. Members of the community are invited to join us and share in a lunch provided by Cowwarr Landcare afterwards. Last year we planted 600 plants on National Tree Day and most are growing very well. Much time has been spent by our Landcare members preparing the site for the plantings. Many of the seedlings have been grown by Cowwarr Primary School.
