Did you know that the Strzelecki Koala found in Latrobe Valley area is genetically unique? Help work out its population size by recording sightings and collecting poo for Monash Uni. Have you seen koalas on your property or nearby? We are holding a workshop on how to get involved and help with this important research.

Come along to this information session to:

- discover how you can help Monash Uni map genetic variability in koalas through collecting poo.

- find out how your koala sighting can contribute to mapping the distribution of koalas in Gippsland.

- come on a short walk to learn how to look for the signs of koala activity.

6pm - BBQ (please BYO chair)

7pm - Presentation by Faye Wedrowicz, Monash Uni

7.30pm - 30 minute walk to ID koala scats and signs.
