Come and listen to Sam Lancaster the Sanctuary Manager at Mount Rothwell and Jo Day of Trust for Nature.
Sam Lancaster the Sanctuary Manager at Mount Rothwell one of the Odonata Foundation sanctuaries, will outline the structure and operation of the Foundation and its work at Mount Rothwell, the largest feral-predator-free ecosystem in Victoria. There is also a very active Landcare group operating on the sanctuary.
The Centre was established for the management of high conservation value species breeding and research programs, so it will be fascinating to hear of the work they are doing and the stories around it.
Following Sam we have Jo Day, TfN Corangamite Regional Manager. Jo will go into detail on the operation of Trust for Nature, who they are, what they do, and how private landowners can protect their land and its conservation values now and into the future.
Two speakers looking to our future and being proactive.
