The first meeting of the year was well attended at the Baranduda Community Centre
Representatives from Parklands Albury Wodonga (David Saxton and Joseph) presented the progress of the woody weed (including blackberry, box elder and tree of heaven) control program as part of the Bush Guardians and Caring for Country projects
Belinda Pearce promoted the March meeting of the Kiewa Catchment group to be held on Tues March 15th 5-30 to 9-30 pm in Kergunyah and run by Moragh McKay from the Bass Coast Landcare Network to promote a review of directions of all groups in the network and will include a BBQ tea
A program of activities for the year was discussed
A sound and light show followed showcasing BLC achievements over the last decade presented by Glen and presenting a video created by Tony and Glen demonstrating new methods for the removal of feral bees from nest boxes designed for mammals and birds
