This event is part of
Planting trees and shrubs along the creek near Campbells Creek Park, with free BBQ lunch.
(Campbells Creek Park is next to the Bowling Club, opposite the Primary School).
We and the local Schools are working to restore the Creek and creek-side land to turn it into a real community asset - for enjoyment, recreational, and educational use.
This is the first big planting day to start restoring the area. We hope you’ll join in for part or all of the day - any help you can give is really welcome.
Bring warm and protective clothing, protective footwear, gloves and a water bottle.
And a hammer, a shovel, and wheelbarrow if you have them.
We will supply plants and guards, a trailer, mattocks, a free BBQ lunch and refreshments.
Lunch will be around 12.30. Please let us know beforehand if you have any special dietary requirements.
