Learn how to save with soils by recognising the type of soils you have and how best to improve them, the nature of fertilisers and how they work with a hands on approach at this workshop.
This talk and demonstration is with our soil specialist, Chris Alenson. He has a background in earth sciences & qualifications in sustainable agriculture (majoring in soils) with over 30 years of practical experience in this area. He will educate us in a way we can all understand, about building good soils which in turn leads to cost effective property management. We will learn how & why fertiliser modifies our soils & if you have had a soil analysis done, bring it along and we'll discuss where deficiencies may lie.
